This website is
primarily intended to display my writings in English and Cebuano-Visayan, one
of the strong foundations of Filipino, national language of the
Republic of the Philippines.
My writing career,
both journalistic and creative, has been carried out since l955 from my
native town of Maribojoc, Bohol in Central Visayas to Davao City on Mindanao
Island, Philippines up to the time of the installation of this website on
September 30, 2008.
With the backing and
inspiration of NANAY RUFINA PINOSO Vda. de APOYON LITERARY MEMORIAL
FUND, this website will offer a venue to students and upstarts in literary and
journalistic fields to read my feature articles run by the Philippines
News Agency (PNA) and my vernacular short stories and poems
previously published by the BISAYA Magazine and other defunct rival
publications in past decades.
